PT Galtam Sumatera Minerals
The IUP block of PT Galtam Sumatera Mineral is geographically located in Ulu Rawas District, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province, with lead (timah hitam) as its primary mineral commodity. The area is recognized for its promising mineral resource potential, supporting medium- to large-scale mining development.
Currently, the IUP covers an area of approximately 504 hectares and is in the development stage, serving as preparation for the transition toward production. As part of the medium-term development plan, the project includes a planned expansion of 106 hectares, which is expected to increase the total concession area to 610 hectares.
This expansion reflects the company’s confidence in the underlying mineral reserves and provides a solid foundation for scaling up operations in the future. With Minevesting Asset Management as a strategic partner, the project is positioned as a professionally managed and sustainable metal mining asset.
Within the PT Galtam Sumatera Mineral IUP area, there are three primary operational blocks designated for focused development:
- Laut Tuboh Block covering approximately 25.57 hectares
- Tuboh Block covering approximately 34.71 hectares
- South Tuboh Block covering approximately 45.72 hectares
The division into multiple blocks facilitates more efficient technical planning, targeted advanced exploration activities, and structured operational management.
At the current development stage, activities are concentrated on refining technical data, evaluating resource potential, and preparing mine plans in accordance with safety and environmental standards. All activities are conducted in line with Good Mining Practices, including regulatory compliance, environmental management, and social responsibility within the surrounding communities.
As development progresses, the project is being methodically prepared to enter the production phase in a phased and controlled manner, ensuring sustainability and long-term value creation for all stakeholders.
