PT Silika Mineral Utama
The Mining Business License (IUP) of PT Silika Mineral Utama is located in Gambut Mutiara Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province, covering an area of approximately 192.93 hectares. The concession is estimated to contain silica sand resources of around ±100 million tons, positioning the project as a high-potential silica sand mining asset.
Silica sand is a strategic mineral that serves as a critical raw material for various industrial sectors, including construction, glass manufacturing, and general manufacturing. As demand for industrial minerals continues to grow, the PT Silika Mineral Utama project offers strong prospects for sustainable development and long-term value creation.
As part of the Minevesting Group, the project is developed using an integrated and responsible approach, emphasizing resource optimization, regulatory compliance, and sustainable mining practices. In addition to mining activities, the project also supports the development of downstream processing facilities to enhance product value and market competitiveness.
PT Silika Mineral Utama is currently in the exploration phase, which is scheduled to continue through 2027. During this phase, activities focus on geological mapping, sampling, and refinement of resource and reserve data to improve accuracy and reliability.
To accelerate the transition toward initial production, Minevesting Asset Management has prepared an advanced exploration program to be implemented before the conclusion of the exploration period. This program aims to strengthen the technical foundation and operational readiness of the project.
Beyond production plans, PT Silika Mineral Utama is also preparing the development of downstream processing facilities in support of mineral beneficiation and value-added initiatives. These downstream developments are expected to enhance product value, broaden market opportunities, and improve overall project economics.
As part of regulatory compliance, the IUP of PT Silika Mineral Utama is officially registered in the Minerba One Data Indonesia (MODI) system of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
