PT Pasir Silika Utama

The IUP block of PT Pasir Silika Utama covers an area of approximately ±190 hectares, with an estimated silica sand resource potential of around ±100 million tons. This substantial resource base positions the project as a promising non-metal mining asset with strong potential for sustainable and professional development.

Silica sand is a key raw material widely used in industries such as glass manufacturing, construction, and other industrial applications. In line with the growing demand for non-metal mineral resources, the development of PT Pasir Silika Utama is expected to generate added economic value and support the national industrial supply chain.

As part of Minevesting Asset Management’s asset portfolio, the project is planned to be developed through a measured and structured approach, emphasizing resource optimization, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability.

PT Pasir Silika Utama is currently in the exploration phase, which is scheduled to continue until 2027. During this phase, activities are focused on technical data collection and evaluation to obtain a more accurate understanding of the quality and quantity of the silica sand resources.

The project is planned to proceed to an advanced exploration stage, which will serve as the foundation for preparation toward the production phase. All development activities will prioritize technical and economic considerations while adhering to good mining practices to ensure safe, efficient, and responsible mining operations.

As the asset owner, Minevesting Asset Management is committed to managing this resource potential in a responsible, transparent, and long-term-oriented manner, creating opportunities for strategic partnerships and delivering positive contributions to national development.
