PT Gemilang Tambang Sejahtera
The IUP block of PT Gemilang Tambang Sejahtera covers an area of approximately 191.5 hectares, with an estimated silica sand resource potential of around 100 million tons. This resource base positions the project as a promising silica sand mining asset with strong long-term development potential.
Silica sand is a key raw material used in various industrial sectors, including glass manufacturing, construction, and other downstream manufacturing industries. With increasing demand for non-metal mineral resources, this project presents opportunities to deliver significant economic value, both for the company and for the broader industrial supply chain in the future.
Through careful planning and structured development, the IUP block of PT Gemilang Tambang Sejahtera is expected to become an integral part of the mining asset portfolio, emphasizing resource optimization, regulatory compliance, and responsible mining practices.
PT Gemilang Tambang Sejahtera is currently in the exploration phase, which is scheduled to continue through 2027. During this phase, activities are focused on comprehensive technical data collection, including area mapping, material quality assessment, and detailed estimation of silica sand resources.
The outcomes of the initial exploration phase will serve as the primary basis for determining the project’s subsequent development direction. Following the completion of early-stage exploration, the project is planned to enter an advanced exploration phase to further strengthen technical data and confirm readiness for future development and production stages.
All exploration activities are conducted in a structured and phased manner, with due consideration for technical standards, environmental aspects, and applicable regulatory requirements. This approach is intended to establish a solid foundation for sustainable and value-driven silica sand project development.
